Discovering Skills and Qualities Within Yourself

When I was 9 yrs old I identified with my self-efficacy and how to
develop it.  I gave myself a challenge to be the first in my third grade class to learn the multiplication table; numbers 1-12.  With my goal set next I explored what was the most effective learning method for me and discovered my photographic memory.  For fuel I imagined the shocking look on my classmates faces, the fun pizza party for the entire class promised by my teacher and the proud feeling of sharing with my mother what I did in school that day.  The accomplishment gave me self-confidence and a formula I would use to reach goals throughout childhood, adolescence and adulthood.  Unaware then what imagery was, I've since learned that for years professionals have used the technique that helped me pass the 3rd grade.  On a regular basis I discover skills and qualities within myself usually by learning about my passions in life and self assessments; to reassure my self-esteem.

Inspiration & Drive for Your Journey.

At age 34 I often get asked by those older and younger than I what’s my inspiration or how do I remain intensely driven?  For my first post I draw inspiration from a comment I submitted about Guy Kawasaki’s posting of street art pictures on Google+.  Great illustrations of what being persistent and having a passion for something someone says is impossible to accomplish or will never be accepted does to the success of an individual and the evolution of a culture.
